Counterclockwise from upper left corner: Board member Karen Malkus-Benjamin can't wait to get started; our new Pond Education kit; people viewing the pond insect puppet show; and children enjoying a pond field trip activity. The sun returned on Saturday just in time for Brewster Conservation Day, after Friday's torrential downpours. Our exhibit focused on our new Pond Education program to teach school children about our ponds' ecosystem and to foster our next generation's appreciation for our ponds' special nature..We displayed our classroom pond kit, replicated science activities from last spring's pond field trips, and performed our pond insect puppet show. All-in-all, a fun day for children and adults alike!
